Union Strength is a strength-oriented gym facility in Dublin, Ireland, offering small group training classes, open gym access, online coaching, powerlifting team access, nutrition consultation, and in-person 1:1 coaching. Their focus is on creating a competitive training environment and fostering a gym culture that maximizes team membersโ performance in competitions. Union Strengthโs goal is to become the gym of choice for competitive powerlifters in Ireland and to sponsor athletes in domestic and international competitions. Our objective was to establish a strong brand identity and create a user-friendly website to attract prospective clients and team members.

Union Strength aimed to establish a strong brand identity and create an online presence that reflected their focus on competitive powerlifting and strength training. They needed a primary logo and secondary icon that conveyed strength, power, and teamwork. Additionally, they required a website that would serve as a central hub for prospective clients and team members to find information, initiate contact, and engage with the gym. The website needed to link to their social media platforms, showcase their services and equipment, and include an onboarding process.
Logo Design.
We developed a bold primary logo and a secondary icon to represent Union Strengthโs values of strength, power, and teamwork. The logo incorporates an abstract hourglass, symbolizing balance and symmetry, paired with a barbell to emphasize the enduring nature of physical strength and fitness. The color palette of black and yellow was chosen for its symbolic meanings: black conveys wealth and power, relating to the concept that physical strength and fitness are true wealth and power; yellow signifies joy, positivity, and hope, reflecting the gymโs vibrant and supportive culture.
